Annual Freshmeat Open
The Green Cove Wrestling Club will host its annual "Freshmeat Open" at CLAY High School on Saturday Dec 1st 2018 ."The Freshmeat Open" is a specific division for in inexperienced high school wrestlers called "Freshmeat". Freshmeat is defined as a high school wrestler who is in their first year wrestling and/or no varsity experience (use a coach's common sense).
Weigh ins on Saturday: 1030-1130am Wrestling Should start around 1230/1pm

We do plan on having our IOF #1 in the morning, which is a youth tournament. As soon as they are done we will go Freshmeat on all mats. Its Always a well ran tournament by an experienced staff who have been doing this the past 15 years. Our goal is to get wrestlers matches and out the door at reasonable time at a cheap price. Average entries last ten years: 178. It will be a great day on mats!
